Hear from today’s business experts and connect with tomorrow’s brightest stars at the 2016 Leadership Summit, presented by The University of Tampa Sykes College of Business TECO Energy Center for Leadership. The 2016 Leadership Summit is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 7:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the ninth floor of the Vaughn Center, 401 W. Kennedy Blvd.
This event will feature Gus Lee, award-winning and best-selling author of
Courage: The Backbone of Leadership and
With Schwarzkopf: Life Lessons of The BEAR. Lee is scheduled to speak at 8 a.m.
Following Lee’s presentation will be a leadership panel discussion. The panel, featuring local business leaders, will include keynote speaker Lee; Jane Castor, retired chief of police for the city of Tampa; Mark House, managing director of The Beck Group; and Suzanne McCormick, president and CEO of the United Way Suncoast. The panel will be moderated by Deirdre Dixon, UT assistant professor of management.
The event will conclude with roundtable discussions lead by UT students on hot topics in leadership, followed by lunch at noon.
