UT To Host Former Keurig Executive for Leadership Speaker Series
The TECO Energy Center for Leadership, part of the Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa, is proud to present “Leading People in an Ever-Changing World,” as part of its Leadership Speaker Series, a biannual speaker event. The event will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in Plant Hall’s Fletcher Lounge on the UT campus, followed by networking and refreshments.
The speaker is Christopher Stevens, one of the three original developers of Keurig Premium Coffee System and an assistant teaching professor at the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business. From 1996 until his retirement in 2013, Stevens played a key role in the success and growth of the Keurig brand. Stevens joined the Notre Dame faculty in 2012 and is the founder and CEO of CS 74 Ventures LLC, a holding company for more than 20 initiatives in which he invests or owns.
The Leadership Speaker Series is dedicated to bringing in outstanding leaders from the private, government and nonprofit sectors to discuss business topics and corporate strategies with students, faculty, alumni and members of the community. Leaders candidly share their experiences, discuss challenges that have impacted their leadership development and provide advice to aspiring leaders. This fall’s event was jointly coordinated with the Notre Dame Club of Greater Tampa Bay.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are required to RSVP at ut.edu/cfl/speakerseries/ as seating is limited.
