On Tuesday, April 25, the leaders of Brett Culp Films, Schifino Lee and Bertram Yachts will stop by The University of Tampa for the final Business Network Symposium of the 2016-2017 academic year. The event, which is free and open to the public, begins with a continental breakfast at 7:15 a.m., followed by the program from 7:45–9 a.m. in the Vaughn Center Crescent Club.

The slate of speakers includes Brett Culp, filmmaker and owner of Brett Culp Films; Paola Schifino, president and co-founder of Schifino Lee; and Peter Truslow, CEO of Bertram Yachts.

Culp is a filmmaker whose client list includes movie stars, music icons, best-selling authors, hall of fame athletes, royalty and Fortune 500 companies. He co-founded The Rising Heroes Project, a nonprofit that supports creating and sharing inspirational films.

Schifino is president and co-founder of Schifino Lee, a successful advertising and branding business boasting national and global clients such as AT&T, Gerdau, Wellcare and Vigo-Alessi and local clients such as the Tampa Museum of Art and World of Beer.

Truslow is CEO of Bertram, a luxury yacht manufacturer that moved its headquarters to Tampa in 2016. He joined Bertram in 2016 after more than two decades as president of EdgeWater Boats in New Smyrna, FL, building its line of offshore boats into a successful brand.

The event is hosted by The University of Tampa Board of Fellows and the presenting sponsor is LCG. Other sponsors include the Tampa Bay Business Journal and Sodexo Campus Services.

The Board of Fellows holds this networking event three times a year to allow businesses that are well known, changing or new to the Tampa Bay area the opportunity to share their accomplishments and plans with the business community.
