UT T-shirt Exchange to Benefit Metropolitan Ministries

As part of orientation on Sept. 2, new students at The University of Tampa had the opportunity to exchange old T-shirts from other universities and colleges for new UT “Spartan Spirit” T-shirts. The UT “Spartan Spirit” T-shirts were exclusively available during the event.

UT T-shirt Exchange to Benefit Metropolitan Ministries The T-Shirt Exchange took place on Friday, Sept. 2, in the Vaughn Center.

Overall, students turned in 166 T-shirts from institutions ranging from Penn State University and University of South Florida to University of Nebraska and University of Indianapolis, plus numerous others. Those T-shirts will be donated to Metropolitan Ministries.

The T-shirt exchange was jointly coordinated by the Office of Orientation and Family Engagement and the Office of Public Information and Publications.
