UT Names New Associate Dean for International Programs

The University of Tampa has announced that AnneLiese Busch has been selected as the associate dean for international programs.

In the position, Busch will be responsible for providing strategic vision and administrative leadership for UT’s Office of International Programs (IPO). She will lead IPO’s services for international students and scholars, support of international recruitment, education abroad, intercultural competency programs, international faculty development, and globally focused events and outreach. She will begin at UT on June 14.

AnneLiese Busch will be responsible for providing strategic vision and administrative leadership for UT’s Office of International Programs (IPO).

Busch has a bachelor of arts degree in French and history and a bachelor of science degree in political science, both from Santa Clara University, a master’s degree in International Affairs from New York University and an MBA from IPAG Business School in Paris. She received her doctoral degree from Colorado State University.

Most recently, Busch was the director of the Center for Global Engagement at Seminole State College. Prior to that, Busch lived in Lima, Peru, from 2009-2015, where she was the director of the Center for American Education at the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola and the dean of Broward College in Peru.

UT is one of the top universities recognized for overall excellence in internationalization efforts and was awarded the Senator Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization in 2016.
