The year 2024 is a special year for UT Men’s Soccer. We have started fundraising for our next trip abroad in 2026. 
Last August we went to Costa Rica for pre-season, which was an incredible experience for our student athletes. We added 26 new players in 2023 after graduating 15 seniors in 2022. Costa Rica was an amazing experience, including training at the top facility in Central America, Liga Deportiva Alajuelense (LDA), which gave our players an experience of a lifetime. LDA were tremendous hosts, and we were able to play two excellent matches against top level competition.
I have fond memories of our trip and what it was able to do for the players and staff connecting as people away from the field. (To all of our alumni prior to 2023, I sincerely apologize that we did not have the opportunity to travel overseas).
We have a goal to travel to Europe in the spring of 2026! Our program is not just about winning championships; we believe that the non-soccer experiences that we provide are just as important to our student athletes' education.
