Executives and leaders in the community who are preparing for a more senior leadership role can take advantage of new one-day, open enrollment leadership courses offered by The University of Tampa’s TECO Center for Leadership (CFL). Registration is now open, and the first program is offered on Thursday, Oct. 15. Dr. Frank Ghannadian, the director for the CFL and dean of UT’s John H. Sykes College of Business, explained that these courses were started to meet the demand in the marketplace for an executive education series. "Currently no one in the Tampa Bay area offers these type of quality leadership development programs for executives," Ghannadian said. All programs contain both experiential learning and group interaction, and participants will be able to put theoretical concepts into practice via case studies and other interactive learning methods. “These courses are taught by professors and practitioners with the latest information on industry trends and cutting-edge theory,” said Mike Weeks, senior associate director of the CFL. “UT offers an academic atmosphere not found in corporate training classes, and our classes are very small and interactive.” Courses offered this fall include:
