UT Nursing Professor Honored by National Medical Organization
Dr. Kathleen C. Ellis, assistant professor of nursing at the University
of Tampa, has received the 2009 American Academy of Allergy, Asthma
& Immunology Allied Health Professionals Recognition Award.
AAAAI is the largest professional medical organization in the United States devoted to the allergy/immunology specialty.
Ellis, who also works in the UT Student Health Center, specializes in pediatrics, management, leadership, and care of children with asthma.
Ellis is co-chair of the Allied Health American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology. She is also a board member of the Association of Asthma Educators and is a member of Tampa Bay Nurse Practitioners.
