Former University of Tampa baseball player Nick Peterson ’10 has made it to the finale in the Bachelor Pad, which airs on Monday's at 8 p.m. on ABC.
Peterson previously appeared in The Bachelorette, the second former Spartan baseball player in the show, following Roberto Martinez. Martinez won the competition and became engaged to Ali Fedotwosky. The couple went on a hometown date, which featured the UT campus.
Peterson was a pitcher for the Spartans from 2005-06. As a member of the 2006 NCAA II national championship team, the Tampa native concluded his UT career with an overall record of 5-2 with a 2.88 ERA.
He then enjoyed a stint in the minor leagues with the New York Yankees as he was a 12th-round selection of the club in 2006.
An entrepreneurship major in college, Peterson has his own personal training business in Tampa.
