“While there is not a singular theme for the concert, each choreographer works extensively with faculty mentors to develop and refine their vision,” said Michael Crotty, assistant professor of dance and director for this year’s event. “What you see is the result of a unique choreographic process.”

This semester, around 75 students will participate in all three performances. “Dance Happening is always an exciting time to see choreographers and dancers thrive. How we move is important. How we can be moved as an audience is equally important,” said Crotty.
