Locks of Love Collects Hair at UT for Kids in Need

Students and community members can donate their hair to Locks of Love at The University of Tampa from noon to 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 17. Students and community members can donate 10 inches or more of their hair to make wigs and hairpieces for children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses. Stylists from the Tribeca Salon of Tampa Bay will cut and collect hair in the Brevard Community Room on the University campus.

The event is organized by the PEACE (People Exploring Active Community Experiences) Volunteer Center at The University of Tampa. Committed to community and campus service, the PEACE mission is to increase volunteerism at UT through direct service and advocacy.
