Eusebio Leal, official historian of the city of La Habana, Cuba, and director of the restoration of Old Havana, will speak at The University of Tampa on Monday, Oct. 12, at 2:30 p.m. on the ninth floor of the Vaughn Center on the UT campus.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
Leal, who is president of the Commission of Monuments in the City of Havana and a specialist in archeological sciences, is also an ambassador of good will for the United Nations. His presentation is titled “The Restoration of Old Havana.”
A reception will follow the presentation.
