Although sad to leave UT behind, Jessica Beaugez '11 credits the University with preparing her for a successful post-college career. In January, Beaugez will begin a job with the National Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C., as a communications manager.

While earning her degree in advertising/public relations with a minor in communication, Beaugez worked two on-campus jobs and participated in three off-campus internships. UT Career Services assistant director of internships, Ali Dunn, said when students take advantage of the programs available to them, such as job fairs and the UT internship program, they enter the workforce with the sought-after skills of experience and professionalism.

Beaugez graduated on Dec. 17 with 431 students at the Martinez Sports Complex. #UTCommencement
