Annual Student Art Exhibition Opens March 23

The annual Juried Student Art Exhibition gives students from any major at The University of Tampa an opportunity to display their artwork to the public. The exhibition will open Friday, March 23, with a reception from 7-9 p.m. at the Scarfone/Harley Gallery on the UT campus. The show runs through April 19.

Pieces include paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, ceramics, sculpture, digital media, animations and mixed media. Claire Orologas, director of the Polk Museum of Art, will judge the show and hand out awards totaling $2,500 to the artists.

The gallery is located on campus at the R. K. Bailey Art Studios at 310 N. Blvd. Gallery hours are 10 to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. There is no charge for admission.
