Gabriel Paez served as a police officer for the New York City Police Department. During his more than 13 year career with the NYPD, Paez served as a research/crime analyst and held various field assignments. His research interests include criminal justice policy, policing, program evaluation, public policy analysis and victimization.Professional and Community Activities
Prior to joining The University of Tampa, Paez taught undergraduate and graduate courses at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He is also a member of the American Society of Criminology and the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences.Honors and Awards
