Career Specialties
Belisa Marochi specializes in international relations, diplomacy and sustainable development. Her current research focuses on stakeholder engagement, diplomacy and Middle Eastern Affairs.
Professional and Community Activities
Marochi's research has appeared in the International Journal of Diplomacy and Economy, Journal of Security & Sustainability Issues and Journal for Interdisciplinary Middle Eastern Studies. Her current work focuses on critical policy studies, participatory governance and the sustainable development agenda.
She has served as an Academic Lead of the Women Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Taskforce in Dubai and has collaborated with governments, businesses and academia on the promotion of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Marochi has taught in universities in Denmark, United Kingdom, Sweden and Dubai.
