Career Specialties
Curtis Le Van's primary interest is Early English Drama (late-medieval through Restoration), focusing on embodiment theory as well as physiognomy, anatomy and theory of the mind.
Professional and Community Activities
Currently, he is working on a manuscript on physiognomy in drama as it relates to evolving theories of the mind. He is also interested in film and have a chapter coming out soon in the collection of essays _Ida Lupino, Filmmaker_ from Bloomsbury Academic Press (forthcoming, Summer 2021) titled "Ida Lupino and Acting: Situating Performance in Cinematic Contexts."
