These include optimization, decision analysis, network, queuing, time-series, new-product forecasting, demand planning, SQL and data/text mining models.

The graduate certificate in effective project management prepares students to sit for the Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Students learn concepts of leadership and change, information systems and operations management, and project management knowledge areas and processes. The graduate certificate in entrepreneurship provides students with the opportunity to gain skills associated with success in entrepreneurship in any context.

In this program, students gain an overview of the new venture creation process, learn techniques for idea generation and opportunity recognition, and how to build a viable business model for any new business concept in just three courses:

The graduate certificate in online development provides students with the information, skills and techniques necessary to succeed in the analysis, design, development and implementation of advanced instructional concepts.

Credits earned in this program can count toward the M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology. This graduate certificate prepares students for a career in instructional design and can be earned after completing four courses – one required and three electives.

The graduate certificate in sports nutrition prepares students for the skills needed for a career in nutrition and health science, covering topics related to basic sports nutrition, sports supplements and ergogenic aids. Completion of the certificate prepares students to take the International Society of Sports Nutrition Certified Sports Nutritionist exam.
