Congratulations Spartans, and welcome to your new home at The University of Tampa! We are excited that you have chosen to be a part of the UT community. Your undergraduate experience begins here with orientation.
We know that coming to college for the first time is an exciting and important time. UT is dedicated to ensuring your transition is a successful one and offers a hybrid orientation experience to support your transition into our community. From your first semester to subsequent years at UT, our online orientation and Week of Welcome (WOW!) program will provide you with information on how to succeed at our University, expose you to University resources, and connect you to new and current students. In addition, our orientation team, comprised of dedicated and enthusiastic student leaders, will assist you throughout the program, help you navigate the campus and answer questions you may have about UT.
Our orientation program is also designed to help assist family members in participating and understanding their students' experiences during this exciting time. For more information regarding registering for Family Orientation and information on the host hotel, visit the Family Orientation webpage.

Residential New Students

It is important that families and students arrive at the time and day of their selected move-in appointment to prevent congestion on campus and create a positive move-in experience for all who are living on campus. As you prepare to arrive on campus, we ask that you and your family members and guests follow the following guidelines:

- Family members and guests may only assist with move in during the student's three hour move-in time block;
- New residential students must present a photo ID at check in to receive your keys, Spartan ID and other important information;
- Moving trucks and box trucks are not permitted on campus for move in;
- Move-in assistance will not be available, but there will be a limited number of carts available for students to utilize during move in.
New students should check their Spartan email for more information regarding move in.

UT's COVID-19 task force is working hard to identify what social distance measures will need to be followed in the fall semester. Until we are able to make those determinations we are holding on publishing our WOW! Fall 2020 calendar. We appreciate your patience.
