Congratulations, Spartans, and welcome to your new home at The University of Tampa!
UT is dedicated to make your transition one of a kind and offers orientation programs designed to help first-year, transfer, commuter and international students successfully transition to our community. Throughout your orientation, you will be exposed to many valuable resources, interact with a variety of campus student leaders and participate in social experiences to begin to make new connections with fellow Spartans.
The University of Tampa currently follows the Spartan Shield Health and Safety plan. Information on COVID-19 safety and education is now readily available.
Your fUTure starts here!
As a new student, you will have the opportunity to get to know your campus prior to your arrival by completing UT's online orientation program. This program has been specifically designed with YOU in mind! From navigating academics to getting involved on campus, this program will help you familiarize yourself with the many resources available to you as a Spartan. The online orientation program for students starting in Fall 2021 will be available beginning Aug. 1. You can access online orientation through your MyUTampa account, and it must be completed prior to your arrival on campus.
New Spartans: Connect to Your New Campus Today!
On behalf of the offices of Student Leadership and Engagement and Orientation and Family Engagement, we are excited to have you join the UT community! When you arrive on campus, you will have the opportunity to get involved in over 200 student clubs and organizations. To help you learn more about these opportunities, you are invited to complete this brief questionnaire. When completing the questionnaire, you can also request to be paired with a Week of Welcome leader mentor. Throughout the summer, your mentor will reach out to you to answer your questions about campus life, move-in and beginning your first semester of college!
ATTENTION FAMILIES: Register Today for Family Orientation!
Families of incoming new students are invited to join us for an informational and engaging 90-minute program on Tuesday, Aug. 3, from 5-6:30 p.m. EST. The program will include a welcome from our University president, provost and feature campus administrators who will share information about UT to assist you with your student's transition to campus. This event is free for families to attend, but pre-registration is required.
