Congratulations, Spartans, and welcome to your new home at The University of Tampa!
UT is dedicated to making your transition one of a kind and offers orientation programs designed to help first-year, transfer, commuter and international students successfully transition to our community. Throughout your orientation, you will be exposed to many valuable resources, interact with a variety of campus student leaders and participate in social experiences to begin to make new connections with fellow Spartans.
The University of Tampa currently follows the Spartan Shield Health and Safety plan. Information on COVID-19 safety and education is now readily available.
Your fUTure starts here!
As a new student, you will have the opportunity to get to know your campus prior to your arrival by completing UT's online orientation program. This program has been specifically designed with YOU in mind! From navigating academics to getting involved on campus, this program will help you familiarize yourself with the many resources available to you as a Spartan. The online orientation program for students starting in Spring 2022 will be available beginning Jan. 1. You can access online orientation through your MyUTampa account, and it must be completed prior to your arrival on campus.
New Student Commuters
Commuter Orientation Check-In
New students who will be living off-campus will need to check in to orientation to receive their Spartan ID card and other important information. Check-in dates and times will be updated near the end of the fall semester.
New Student Commuter Orientation
The University recognizes that commuter students have different needs as they transition to campus than residential students. Commuter students are encouraged to view the new student commuter orientation video to learn about campus resources.
Spring 2022 Week of Welcome
Welcome to The University of Tampa! Information regarding the Spring 2022 Week of Welcome program will be available beginning Nov. 1.
