The College of Arts and Letters, instead of a one-day event or just one event, plans to have two weeks of showcase events and end-of-year capstone experiences. Research posters will be up for viewing in the Ferman Center for the Arts.

Events happening in April:

65 Years in the Making: A Celebration of UT Visual Arts Faculty and Alumni — part of a trifecta of UT visual arts exhibitions at UT for 2021.
Location: The Saunders Foundation Art Gallery
Dates: Monday, Feb. 22, until Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021

Devon Chiodo — Junior Recital — open to UT Community only
Location: Sykes Chapel and Center for Faith and Values
Date: Sunday, April 11, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Philosophy Club Lightning Talk — a 10-to-15-minute philosophy presentation and open discussion, by Thomas Meagher, visiting assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Memphis, whose work focuses on race, gender, existentialism and coloniality.                                                          Location: Zoom                                                                                                                        Date: Wednesday, April 15, from 4-6 p.m.

Little Women — based on the novelist Louisa May Alcott's life

Departmental Student Recital — showcases students enrolled in studio lessons. When Frank met Ella: The music of Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald — a musical montage.
