Program Costs

Tuition  

Tuition for year one (Aug. 26, 2019, through Aug. 17, 2020) is set at $14,000 per semester, totaling $42,000.

Fees 

Program fees for year one are $1,450 per semester, totaling $4,350. Fees are mandatory and will be collected by either UT or third-party vendors.

They cover the following:

  • All textbooks
  • iPad or Surface Pro
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications
  • White lab coat
  • Program-required scrubs
  • Software/equipment required for ultrasound training, EKG training, virtual patient cases, logging of clinical experiences and high-stakes testing
  • Professional conference attendance
  • Professional organization membership
  • Gross anatomy lab
  • Simulation lab fees
  • Criminal background check
  • Urine drug screen

There will be no additional requests for fees or events that require payment during the program.

Additional Expenses  

Additional expenses not charged by the University and that will vary from student to student include rent and utilities, meals and transportation expenses.

Students are not expected to incur additional expenses related to clinical rotation travel, as all clinical sites are within 80 miles of the University.

In determining a student’s eligibility for student loans and any other financial aid, the University has established an estimated $57,678 as the total annual cost of attendance (COA) of the first year of the PA program.
