The Learning Resources Center (LRC) provides academic support services and is a part of Peer Support in the Academic Success Center. The LRC offers comprehensive academic programs and initiatives designed to meet students’ specific needs.

Peer Support has been awarded certification as a Level I certified tutor training program by the internationally recognized College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA). For more than thirty years CRLA has been a leader in learning assistance, reading and academic support programs with almost 1,300 members and over 2,000 certified training programs worldwide.

Supplemental Instruction is designed to increase performance and retention through its use of peer-led collaborative learning.

These one-to-one sessions are designed for the tutor and graduate or undergraduate students to dive deep into course content, so students stay engaged, motivated and on track.

Peer Assisted Learning Program

PALS connects undergraduate students with trained undergrad and graduate students, utilizing leadership and coaching strategies to provide guidance and support that empowers students to take ownership of their academic journey.

SOAR is an academic recovery program designed to support undergraduate students who have a cumulative GPA below 2.0.

ASK 100: Academic Skills

Ask 100 is an individualized skill-building course in which students enhance their academic skills using their own textbooks, improve their time management and organizational skills, and work on test-taking competencies.
