Bachelor of Music in Music Education

The Bachelor of Music in music education (BME) degree is designed to prepare future teachers for group instruction in all areas of music for grades K-12. The program demands a high level of musical skills and knowledge following the philosophy that "Superior Teaching emerges from Superior Musicianship." The course of study includes psychology, management and leadership courses vital to effective music educators.
