The University of Tampa is committed to helping students consider their education, apply, enroll and move to degree completion, whether they just finished their bachelor’s degree or graduated 20 years ago. To apply to the M.A. in Professional Communication program (MAPC), complete UT's graduate application. This is the general application for all graduate programs.

Admissions and Advising

For questions about the application process, enrollment, guaranteed admission, testing, funding and decisions on your application contact a graduate admissions counselor, at gradinfo@ut.edu or call (813) 258-7409.

For questions regarding registration and path of study, contact an academic advisor, ogcsadvising@ut.edu. Academic advisors are staff members who help all deposited students register for the program and navigate student portals for billing, plan of study, financial aid, parking and beyond.

Registration

The Graduate and Continuing Studies team will help you navigate billing, curriculum and other student functions. The M.A. in Professional Communication team will build your schedule, inclusive of MAPC 601 and MAPC 602.  Your academic advisor will register you for your first semester classes.

Remember, all MAPC courses are on campus. These classes take place in the evening, beginning at 6 p.m., during Spring and Fall, and every weekday evening, beginning at 5:15 p.m., during the January and May intersessions.
