The M.A. in Professional Communication requires the following documentation for admission: 

  • Completed application
  • Official transcripts* (All official transcripts and scores must be sent directly from the institution to the address below. If sending electronically, please select “The University of Tampa Graduate School.”"
  • TOEFL/IETLS* (All official transcripts and scores must be sent directly from the institution to the address below. If sending electronically, please select “The University of Tampa Graduate School.”" for those applicants whose primary language is not English
  • Professional résumé
  • Personal statement
    • Why did you choose this program? 
    • What do you want to bring to it and take with you when you leave?
    • What would you like the admissions committee to know about you as it forms its incoming master's class?
  • Two recommendation forms or letters

All supporting documents (except for transcripts and scores) can be uploaded directly into the application portal or emailed to grad@ut.edu.

Guaranteed Admission for UT Graduates

Students who have earned a 2.75 or higher accompanied by their bachelor's degree from The University of Tampa qualify for our guaranteed admissions track, which also waives some application components. Email ut2ut@ut.edu if you are interested or have questions about guaranteed admission.
