Career Specialties

MaryAnn D'Alesandro has been afforded the opportunity to work in various areas in nursing over the past 29 years including cardio-thoracic and major vascular surgery, pre-op, PACU, management, informatics and academia.

D’Alesandro holds national certifications in four areas of nursing:
CNORe: Certified Nurse Operating Room
BC: Board Certification Nursing Informatics
CNE: Certified Nurse Educator
ANCC: Board Certification Nursing Informatics

Professional and Community Activities

D’Alesandro's area of scholarship and research is in student enrichment, retention and academic success specific to nursing students. She has over 25 published works in various double-blind, peer-reviewed nursing journals and has presented and continues to present at local and national nursing conferences.
