The University of Tampa is hosting its 3rd Annual Giving Day 5K Fun Run and Walk, kicking off the annual Giving Day celebration. Giving Day is a 24-hour fundraising effort supporting UTampa’s scholarship fund for current and future Spartans.
The 5K Fun Run and Walk will take place on the UTampa campus, featuring a scenic route through campus, Plant Park, and along the Hillsborough River, with views of downtown Tampa. This exciting evening will be filled with Spartan spirit and community fun you won’t want to miss!
Each participant will receive a UTampa-branded race bib, event T-shirt and finisher medal. After crossing the finish line, enjoy music, food, non-alcoholic beverages and UTampa swag.
Participants will also have the chance to win prizes (Starbucks, MacDinton’s, Oxford Exchange, American Social, and more), for top finishers in specific categories such as 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for men and women, most spirited participant, largest team and additional fun awards. Show off your Spartan pride by wearing your best UTampa gear for a better chance to win!
