Over 24-hours, Spartans everywhere rally to support the University of Tampa by giving through climber-led challenges. Choose a climber connected to the area you care about most, then make a gift that helps unlock new impact for students.

#RallyTheSpartans is the University of Tampa’s annual Giving Day, a 24-hour rally to support the areas of UTampa you care about most. As a private university, UTampa depends on philanthropic support from the community it serves. Tuition alone does not sustain the university, so your gift helps strengthen scholarships, academic programs and the student experience. Every gift, at every level, makes a difference. Choose Your Climber, Choose Your Challenge

Matches are live from 5 p.m. Thursday, April 23, through 5 p.m. Friday, April 24.

Thanks to generous Spartan donors, every gift made during Giving Day is matched dollar-for-dollar. That means your support goes twice as far for UTampa students, programs and priorities.

Match available while funds last. 

How it works

  • Give anytime during the 24-hour window to one of the challenges, and a Spartan Donor matches your gift.
  • Your gift can support any fund
  • Small gifts still make a big difference when they are matched

Grad Year by the Decades Competition

Your decade helped shape your UTampa story. Now your class can help shape what comes next.
 

How to Participate

  • Make a gift during Giving Day and note your grad year.
  • Share with classmates to boost both participation and dollars raised
  • Post your grad year and why you give on social tagging @uoftampa and @utampaalumni

The Prize

The decade that leads the day will earn an additional match for the Annual Fund, turning class-year pride into more support for students.

During Giving Day, share your favorite UTampa memory and tag @uoftampa and @utampaalumni. We will select winners throughout the Day, and each winner gets to direct a matching gift to the UTampa fund of their choice.

Find Spartacus Around Campus

Spartacus is hiding… and it’s your move.
 

During the 24-hour Giving Day window, we’ll hide four Spartacus dolls across campus. Follow our social channels for clues (@uoftampa). When you find one, bring it back to the Office of Development and University Relations, and you’ll unlock a matching gift for the area of campus you choose.
 

That’s right. You decide where the match goes. Choose from scholarships, athletics, your college or another student initiative.
 

How to Participate

  • Follow @uoftampa for clues during the 24-hour window
  • Find one of four Spartacus dolls hidden across campus
  • Bring it back to the Office of Development and University Relations
  • Unlock a matching gift for the area of campus you choose (scholarships, athletics, your college, or another student initiative)

Presidential Trivia Cart

President Teresa Dahlberg is taking Giving Day on the move.
 

During the 24-hour Giving Day window, President Dahlberg will be riding around campus on a golf cart, asking students trivia questions! Each question they answer correctly earns them a prize and unlocks matching dollars for the Annual Fund, helping meet student needs across campus.
 

How to Participate
