CHOICES (Choosing How Opportunities Influence Challenging Ethical Situations) is a deferred adjudication program offered to students who are charged with violating low-level University alcohol and/or identification policies. The Office of Student Conduct determines whether students meet the eligibility requirements to participate in CHOICES. Students who are eligible to participate in CHOICES forgo their student due process rights associated with their assigned violations and participate in a 90-minute workshop geared toward identifying their personal values, reviewing their decision process, and learning about the Student Code of Conduct, Spartan Code and Spartan Ready competencies. Students may only participate in CHOICES once in their career at UT and must be in good conduct standing.

Students participating in the CHOICES program are expected to actively participate, complete the necessary paperwork and pay their workshop fee of $25 to the Bursar's Office prior to attending the workshop. The Bursar's Office is located on the fourth floor in Plant Hall. Please visit their website to review accepted forms of payment. Please note that payments will not be accepted at the CHOICES workshop.
