Mission

The Tampa Bay Alumni Chapter (TBAC) of the Alumni Association encourages and promotes the interests, ideals and advancement of The University of Tampa through various events that cultivate and enhance good fellowship among the alumni of the University.

Brielle Bell '15, cum laude - Chair
Associate Attorney, Bush Ross, P.A.
Brielle Bell (Tucker) graduated from The University of Tampa in 2015, with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and minors in Law/Justice and Speech. Bell went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and is currently a corporate transactions and bankruptcy attorney at Bush Ross P.A. in Tampa, Florida. While at UT, Bell was involved as an Ambassador, a UT Admissions Representative, Co-Editor of the Moroccan (UT’s Yearbook), served on the Conduct Board and was a member of the Tenacious Tau Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Originally from Washington, D.C., Bell came to sunny Tampa because a UT brochure came in the mail saying “Love Where You Live and Learn,” and from then she knew Tampa would be home.

Clayton Clemens '16 - Philanthropy Co-Chair

Clayton Clemens graduated from the University of Tampa in 2016 with a degree in communications and a minor in advertising and then earned his Master's in Public Administration from UCF in 2022. While at The University of Tampa, he was a member of the Men's Varsity Swimming Team and was an active member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. He is the Executive Director for Project Focus; at Focus he will be supporting the foundation's efforts to support young adults with developmental disabilities. Clemens also participates in leadership organizations and philanthropic causes throughout the state and is an active CrossFit coach at a gym in Tampa.

Melissa Martinez '18

Melissa Morin '11 - Membership & Recruitment Chair

Melissa Morin is a Graduate of the University of Tampa, Class of 2011 where she majored in Government, Worlds Affairs and International Cultural Studies (Minor in Spanish). Morin has extensive experience in region-wide management and talent development, where she held many leadership roles within the banking industry. Currently, Morin is a Director of Development at the University of South Florida Foundation Office of Corporate Partnerships. Part of her role is to connect with Corporate Partners to University-wide initiatives and programs. Morin has also been selected to participate in Leadership Tampa Bay’s, Class of 2023. Morin is eager to connect the Tampa Bay Alumni Chapter at The University of Tampa to broader opportunities that will enhance growth.

Sumair Singapuri graduated from The University of Tampa in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Speech Studies and a minor in Business Administration. While at UT, he served in six departments as a student leader, spearheaded UT's first social media collaboration with Tampa International Airport, and became an Award-Winning Public Speaker at UT's 2022 Speech Contest. A proud recipient of the Bob Ruday Spartan Award, and a member of the UT Board of Counselors, Singapuri looks forward to supporting the community that empowered him to forge the very bedrock of his identity for many years to come!

Domarchiné Thompson graduated from The University of Tampa in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Marketing. While at UT, she served as the vice president of finance for the UT American Marketing Association and was a member of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity. Domarchiné looks forward to supporting the community as a proud member of TBAC and the UT Board of Counselors.
