The University of Tampa Alumni Association Awards celebrates the outstanding accomplishments and service of our alumni.
Nominations of UT alumni are accepted year-round. Award recipients are honored each year in May at the annual Alumni Awards Dinner.
Award Categories
Esse Quam Videri Outstanding Alumni Award
This award is the highest award that can be given to a graduate of The University of Tampa. Nominees for this award must meet three of the qualifications below.
- Recipients must have a record of outstanding service to the University or the Alumni Association.
- Recipients must have a record of outstanding achievements in their chosen career or in their civic involvement.
- Recipients must have a long-term track record of financial support to the University.
Alumni Achievement Award
This award recognizes alumni who have made exceptional accomplishments in their lives. Nominees for this award must meet two of the qualifications below.
- Recipients must have a record of outstanding achievements in their chosen career or civic involvement.
- Recipients must have a record of service to the University.
- Recipients must show strong track record of financial support to the University.
Young Alumnus Award
This award recognizes and encourages continued support and service by young alumni of UT. Nominees for this award must meet the age restriction and two of the qualifications below.
- Recipients must be 35 years of age or younger.
- Recipients must show outstanding service to the University or the Alumni Association.
- Recipients must show a level of achievement in their chosen career or civic involvement.
- Recipients must show a record of financial support to the University.
The 1931 Award
The 1931 Award recognizes an individual who represents the foundational mission of The University of Tampa. Named after UT’s first year as an institution, a 1931 Award recipient is recognized for their service, philanthropy or career achievements.
Nominees for this award must meet one of the three qualifications below.
- Recipients must show high levels of assistance, support, and service to UT and the Alumni Association.
- Recipients must show a level of career and civic achievement.
- Recipients must show a record of financial support to the University.
