Open House Social Media Video Contest Rules 

  1. Participate in an interview with a member of our social media team at any of UT’s Open House events. Your interview will be posted as a story on the @UtampaAdmissions account during Open House. 

  2. To participate in the contest, you must be selected as one of three finalists. As a finalist, your story will be posted as a reel on the @UTampaAdmissions Instagram. 
  3. To increase the likelihood of being selected as a finalist*: 
    1. Follow the @UTampaAdmissions and @UofTampa Instagram accounts. 
    2. Share content from Open House with #UTampaOpenHouse. 
    3. Share your interview to your story.  
  4. If you are selected as a finalist: The most votes win. One like, share or comment with a tag equals one vote. 
    1. The number of shares your reel receives adds to your final number of votes.  
    2. The number of comments on your reel that tag new people adds to the final number of votes. 
    3. The number of shares your reel receives adds to the final number of votes. 

The student with the most votes on their reel by the deadline of Wednesday at noon wins a $100 gift card to the UT Bookstore, and their reel will be posted on the @Uoftampa and @UTampaAdmissions Instagram accounts. 

*Students who post content while at Open House with the hashtag #UTOpenHouse and tag @Utampaadmissions will increase the likelihood of their interview being selected for the competition. However, this does not guarantee that they will be a finalist.
