Open House
Designed for prospective full-time undergraduates, this popular event brings many students and their families to campus for a full overview of UT.
Each year, up to 25 high-achieving graduating seniors from historically underserved high schools in the Greater Tampa Bay will be offered the Spartan Alliance Scholarship, which covers the full cost of tuition for all four years at The University of Tampa.
What can you expect as a selected recipient of the Spartan Alliance Program?
The Spartan Alliance Program starts with intentional engagement in the recruitment phase, prioritizes the UT academic experience, folds in structures for career and professional development, and incorporates mentorship.
How do I get started?
Eligible students must be nominated by their high school counselor. Counselors can obtain a nomination form by contacting program points of contact Nelka Diih or Kalia Bickers.
Priority Deadline for Counselor Nomination Submission is Dec. 1.
Who is eligible for the Spartan Alliance Program?
- A high school senior in a historically under-resourced high school in the greater Tampa Bay region
- A US citizen, national or permanent resident
- Have a strong high school academic record
- Demonstrate leadership through participation in community service, extracurricular, job or other activities
- Completed nomination from high school (Please reach out to school guidance counselor.)
