The Florida Undergraduate Research Conference (FURC) is one of the nation's largest multi-disciplinary research conferences. It is an annual event open to all undergraduate researchers in the state of Florida to present their research in a poster forum. Every year the conference will be hosted at a different university in the state on the last weekend in February. For 2026, it will be held in March. In addition to research presentations, there are also exhibitors from graduate programs and other opportunities targeted for students involved in undergraduate research. The University of Tampa was honored to host FURC 2016.

The 2026 FURC will be held on March 6-7, 2026, at the University of North Florida, in Jacksonville..

FURC Travel Awards

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry will support 40-50 students to present at this year's conference. Students interested in presenting at the Florida Undergraduate Research Conference are encouraged to apply for a  FURC Travel Award (will open in January 2026). The Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry will pay for registration and transportation to/from UTampa. Please have your abstract and your abstract submission receipt ready to upload.
