The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) includes Spartan Studies, First-Year Studies Program, Baccalaureate Experience and Faculty Professional Development. We strive to advance the best practices of college teaching by engaging in learning partnerships between students, faculty, staff and our community. We want to develop and empower learners so that they are inspired to create an innovative learning environment on the UTampa campus. The CTL office is located in Plant Hall 303.

The CTL website includes a variety of materials to support teaching and learning at the University of Tampa. If you have suggestions for additional resources for either faculty or students, please contact Cheri Etling-Paulsen, associate dean of the center for teaching and learning, at cetling@ut.edu. If you have ideas for a presentation at one of our faculty development workshops, please contact Mary Martinasek, associate professor of public health, at mmartinasek@ut.edu
