Tutoring is now located in the Learning Resources Center on the second floor of the Jenkins Health and Technology Building.

Tutoring is a great way to start your semester off successfully. Not only will you become more proficient in the course you are tutored in, but most tutors are upper-level UT students who have been where you are and can relate to what you are going through. Learn more about what to expect during your tutor session.  To ensure that peer tutors can assist students effectively and efficiently, please come to tutoring prepared with questions, books, practice test and other relevant materials.

Drop-In Sessions
Drop-in tutoring is designed to help students better understand a concept, process or steps for problem-solving. During a drop-in session, you may meet with the tutor one-on-one or in a group, depending on student demand. To ensure students get an opportunity to meet with a tutor, drop-in sessions cannot exceed 30 minutes if students are waiting.

Scheduled Appointments
Scheduled appointments are 1:1 sessions that are 60 minutes long so the tutor and tutee can dive deeper into course content the student may need better clarity on. Scheduled sessions also allow students to schedule appointments in advance and select their preferred tutor.
