The UTampa Center for Mathematics provides peer tutoring for 100 and 200-level math, computer science, and data science courses. Our tutors can help you to better understand course material, improve study skills and improve note-taking techniques.

SUMMER 2026 

Virtual tutoring for the courses listed below is available by appointment only:

MAT 160, MAT 170, MAT 225, MAT 260

CSC 101, CSC 102 and CSC 201

To book a one-on-one appointment:

• Open Navigate and select Appointments -> Get Assistance (top right corner)
• Select Center for Mathematics. You can then choose the tutor, date and time for your appointment.

One-on-one appointments are limited, must be scheduled 24 hours in advance, and are on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Appointments will be held via zoom. Your tutor will reach out to you with a zoom link for the meeting. You are also welcome to email your tutor to request the zoom link.

If you no show two scheduled appointments within two weeks, your appointment booking privileges will be revoked for two weeks, but you can still attend drop-in hours. If you are more than 15 minutes late to an appointment, you will be considered a no show. If you cancel an appointment within one hour of the appointment start time, you will be considered a no show.
