About
The Sykes College of Business Global Access Partnership is an educational travel program designed to provide a platform for University community partners to experience the nuances of global markets and cultures firsthand so that they can confidently navigate the global business landscape. The program’s goal is to enable our stakeholders to explore key emerging markets in Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East to enhance trade connections, learning and cultural appreciation. With a strategic mix of travel, classroom instruction and real-world experiences, the Global Access Partnership is infusing international competence into the Tampa Bay business community, providing the access to expand local business abroad.

2013 Tentative Program Activities   

  • Visit with influential government and community leaders such as the Dubai Economic Development Department and the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development.  
  • Meet corporate executives of U.S.-based international businesses and leaders of local businesses abroad such as Dun and Bradstreet.  
  • Interact with local university and educational partners such as Zayed University, Abu Dhabi University and Dubai Knowledge Village during presentations and other educational opportunities.  
  • Participate in four to six guided site visits to local areas of cultural interest.
