All employment professionals wishing to recruit on-campus are required to work within the framework of professionally accepted recruiting, interviewing and selection techniques and guidelines. These include the recruiting and offer policies detailed below by The Office of Career Services, the Nondiscrimination Policy of The University of Tampa, the NACE Principles for Professional Practice for Career Services & Employment Professionals and the United States Department of Labor FLSA Guidelines (as it relates to paid vs. unpaid internships). If it is determined, through observation or student complaints, that an employer’s actions are in violation of these policies, the Office of Career Services reserves the right to suspend an organization’s access to campus recruiting services and support pending the result of an investigation.
