English as a Second Language Training Option
Students whose first language is not English but who meet admission requirements may be offered conditional letters of admission. Students must apply to UT and provide their academic credentials for consideration. If offered conditional acceptance, students will then be referred to the ELS Language Center on campus for further details regarding the English as a second language program.
ELS Language Center
The ELS Language Center will provide an Intensive English Program here on The University of Tampa campus beginning each month. The ELS program offers 12 proficiency levels, and students can enter the program any month during the year. You can fulfill your English proficiency requirement by attending and successfully completing Level 112 of the ELS Intensive English Program.
