As part of The University of Tampa Athletic Training (AT) program’s commitment to serving the Tampa Bay athletic training and sports medicine community, the AT program will, from time to time, offer continuing professional development forums, lectures, seminars or workshops by program faculty. In addition, we collaborate with regional or national educational or professional organizations to bring educational opportunities to the Tampa Bay area.

Evidence-based Practice (EBP) Forums

EBP forums are continuing education sessions led by AT program faculty focused on current topics in athletic training and sports medicine clinical practice. These forums will provide an opportunity for an in-depth look into the evidence surrounding a current issue in sports medicine clinical practice.

Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)

The University Of Tampa AT program and Athletic Training Clinic is pleased to announce that we are partnering with Neurosport Educational International to bring a two-part professional development course in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization to the Tampa Bay area.

Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) is a manual and rehabilitative approach to optimize the movement system based upon the scientific principles of developmental kinesiology.
