Apply for Graduation

To receive a diploma and have degree conferral reflected on their transcript, students must apply for graduation through Workday.

Students must apply for graduation regardless of whether or not they plan to participate in the commencement ceremony. In order to ensure that students' names appear in the commencement program, they must apply on or before the priority graduation deadline date. After the priority deadline date, students must still apply to graduate in order to be included in the list of graduation candidates for graduation. Degree auditing begins once all final grades are posted.

Deadlines to Apply

Priority deadlines to apply for graduation are as follows:

Spring

• March 24 — Last day to apply to graduate to have your name printed in the commencement program

Fall

• Oct. 26 — Last day to apply to graduate to have your name printed in the commencement program

Participation in the commencement ceremony requires a separate application, which can be completed after students officially apply for graduation.
