Among his many accomplishments, Rosenblum’s journey has taken him on tours with Grammy-winning pop artist Rickie Lee Jones, Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Catherine Russell and Juno-winning contemporary Indian singer Kiran Ahluwalia. At any given show, Rosenblum might draw on influences from 10 or more countries, with interests going beyond jazz to include various music traditions from South America, Eastern Europe, Ireland, India, the Caribbean and the Middle East.

Rosenblum’s performance at UTampa will include a group of prominent New York City-based jazz musicians and international touring artists. Bassist Daniel Duke appears at Birdland, the Blue Note, Dizzy’s, Smoke Jazz Club, and West Village mainstays Small’s and Mezzrow. Drummer and percussionist Ben Zweig, one of Rosenblum’s most frequent collaborators, plays around the world and locally at venues in his native NYC.
