Career Specialties

Siwen Zhang conducts empirical research in corporate finance, climate finance, financial institutions and investments, and she leverages natural language processing (NLP) and AI techniques in her work.

Professional and Community Activities

Her research focuses on empirical corporate finance, climate finance, financial institutions and investment, with particular emphasis on the use of natural language processing (NLP) and artificial intelligence methods. Her work has been presented at national and international conferences and seminars, including the Midwest Finance Association, the Eastern Finance Association, the Financial Management Association, the Alpine Finance Summit and the Baruch-JFQA Climate Finance and Sustainability Conference. She has also contributed to the academic community by serving as a discussant and session chair at various conferences. In addition, she has mentored undergraduate students, organized departmental events and received multiple awards and grants in support of her research.
