Career Specialties

Wojciech Tralle specializes in algebra, number theory and arithmetic geometry. His research focuses on strong approximation for linear algebraic groups, local-global principles and related problems in arithmetic geometry.

Professional and Community Activities

Tralle earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Virginia. His research investigates strong approximation, algebraic groups and arithmetic geometry, with particular emphasis on local-global principles over function fields. He has coauthored research with Professor Andrei Rapinchuk, and his work has been presented at conferences and seminars including PANTS, SERMON and the Banff International Research Station. He continues to work on problems involving strong approximation for reductive algebraic groups.

Before joining the University of Tampa, Tralle served as a visiting assistant professor at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, where he taught courses ranging from intermediate algebra to calculus and mathematical thinking. At UTampa, he teaches college algebra and is committed to helping students build strong mathematical foundations while developing analytical and problem-solving skills.
