Thomas Stockwell is an empirical macroeconomist specializing in time-series econometrics and monetary policy.

Professional and Community Activities

His current research studies whether the response of output to monetary policy is asymmetric across different dimensions: the direction of the policy action, the size of the policy action, and the phase of the business cycle that the action takes place in.

During his time as a graduate student, he spent a semester teaching Principles of Macroeconomics at Adrian College.
