Career Specialties

Areas of academic interest include perfectionism as it relates to psychological distress, as well as topics related to positive psychology.

Professional and Community Activities

Research activity includes working collaboratively with faculty and students on topics related to perfectionism and positive psychology constructs. Findings from recent studies showed that perfectionism was related to higher levels of stigma in help-seeking, predicted low disclosure of recent positive events, and was negatively related to positive psychology constructs such as hope, savoring and self-compassion.
