Roscoe has academic interests in program assessment, quality improvement, and accreditation in medical education. He teaches across the physician assistant curriculum with a specialty in evidence-based medicine. Clinically, his background is in emergency medicine.
Roscoe is the current President-Elect of the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA), and will serve as President in 2026. He serves on multiple national-level task forces and committees related to PA program development, assessment, and leadership training. He is an active scholar, with a track record of peer-reviewed publications, national conference presentations, and leadership in competency-based education.
Roscoe also serves as a Colonel in the Army National Guard and is the Commander of the Indiana Medical Readiness Detachment. A decorated combat veteran with tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, he has remained committed to service, leadership, and interprofessional training throughout his military and academic careers.
