Kevin E. Phillips career specialties and areas of academic interest are organizational leadership, employee resilience, overconfident leadership, work-life integration, and organizational change.
Professional and Community Activities
Phillips has published three books focused on leadership and organizational change. He is also an active member of the Project Management Institute and is a Certified Project Management Professional.
Phillips' research is currently focused on leadership, decision-making, and organizational change. Specifically, he is examining how the interpersonal characteristics of leaders impact employees.
Prior to entering academia, Phillips worked in healthcare and state government, and served in the United States Air Force.
